The calm before the storm.
It's been a relatively quiet week for the End Cannabis Prohibition Jersey campaign as we awaited the conclusion of the Island Plan debates in the States Assembly.
The ECPJ team felt it important to not disturb or distract States Members during this time. Now that they have finished with the Island Plan, we can proceed to contacting those independent Members who have declared their intention to stand in the upcoming elections.
We shall also be following up with the Jersey Alliance Party and the new independent candidates to arrange meetings, as well as reaching out to the recently announced Better Way Coalition.
With less than 3 months to go until the elections on the , the majority of the anticipated candidates have yet to declare their intentions.
End Cannabis Prohibition Jersey therefore has a busy couple of months coming up as we go about our campaign and engage with the election candidates.
