ECPJ Campaign Update #7.

Steady progress.

This week, End Cannabis Prohibition Jersey held it's first meeting with an independent candidate, Dr Helen Miles, who is standing for election as a Deputy in St Brelade (District 2).

Our meeting with Dr Miles went really well and we had a great discussion, which included some interesting insights from her time as a civil servant.

We are grateful to the Santander Work Café for their provision of free meeting rooms in Town, and for accommodating us downstairs.

ECPJ were due to meet with The Progress Party this week, but this has been re-scheduled to next week.

We continue to reach out to election candidates via email. Several of the current States Members seeking re-election requested that we get back in touch after Easter, so we'll chase them up next week.

A number of candidates have yet to respond to our emails but we'll persevere to engage with them on the subject of cannabis reform.
