ECPJ Campaign Update #16.

Not long to go now!

There are only a few days left until the 2022 general elections, which will decide our States representatives for the next four years.

End Cannabis Prohibition Jersey would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the candidates for putting themselves forward for election and for their engagement with our campaign to shift the Overton window on cannabis to enable further discussion in future.

Following the elections, we shall be continuing our campaign to engage with States Members to address the areas of concern that we have highlighted in our recommendations for reform.

The End Cannabis Prohibition Jersey campaign featured on the front page of Tuesday's Jersey Evening Post, which highlighted the progress we have made in engaging with election candidates: Cannabis laws: New States 'could be more progressive'.

The front page article was accompanied by a two page feature that covered the key recommendations of our campaign and included a lovely photo of members of the ECPJ team: Safe use, not misuse, say cannabis campaigners.

Many thanks to Jake Stolte of the Jersey Evening Post for covering our work in highlighting cannabis issues.

Polling day is on .

Please use your opportunity to cast your votes, preferably for candidates who are either supportive or receptive of cannabis reform.

See the elections section of our website for listings of the candidates along with what we understand to be their stance on cannabis.

À bétôt et à la préchaine,
The ECPJ Team.
